Instrumentation Engineers Limited (IEL) was founded in January 1984 to meet the instrumentation needs of the industrial sector of Bangladesh. Since then, IEL is proud to have made significant contributions to the development of national industries by providing control, reliability, safety, and optimization solutions. Over time, we have also started offering a wide range of services including engineering, installation/commissioning, after-sales support, and manpower training.
IEL is the Emerson Local Business Partner for Bangladesh, and thus the single point of contact in the country for Emerson’s Automation Solutions. We combine our local capabilities with Emerson’s global reach and scale, enabling customers to achieve Top Quartile performance by bringing cutting-edge, patented technologies to the emerging market of Bangladesh. IEL and Emerson’s engineering experts also collaborate in the process of designing and customization to meet the precise needs of our patrons.
In addition to being partners of Emerson in Bangladesh, IEL has also forged strategic partnerships with other leading OEMs such as Canalta, Meister, and Flash Point as complementary brands that help us deliver a one-stop solution to our esteemed customers.
For the past few decades, IEL has thus been recognized in the country as the leading provider of automation, valve technologies, water quality analysis, filtration and separation, measurement, and process control solutions.

Emerson provides support to almost all countries of the world. Where Emerson does not have a direct office, it operates through a network of Local Business Partners.
IEL is the Emerson Local Business Partner for Bangladesh. As the proud partners of Emerson in Bangladesh, IEL is a lot more than just the Emerson distributor in Bangladesh, or the Emerson agent in Bangladesh. By dint of this partnership, IEL is effectively the local representatives of Emerson in Bangladesh, and is in charge of conducting all engineering activities from sizing and selection to deducing solutions that best suit our esteemed customers.
IEL engineers are also trained directly by Emerson, and collaborate with Emerson factories across the globe to provide custom solutions for each customer they serve.
